Hooray!

Spring has Sprung! And we’re celebrating with lots of colorful inspiration throughout the store. Remember our “Naked Snowmen” packaged chipboard? We now have “Naked Flowers” assorted packaged flower chipboard shapes for you to have fun with, and “Naked Birds” chipboards are flying in, too. There are also paper flower patterns and kits – these are great cheery additions for everyone’s home décor, and also make wonderful craft projects for the kids. Then there are our acrylic album samples on display, Colorado chipboard word books in 2 sizes, and so much more for fun, creative and affordable scrapping, stamping and papercrafting projects for everyone.

A new feature to our class offerings at Simple Pleasures is the addition of some of our classes in Kit form. We know it can be difficult to manage your hectic schedules, along with those of everyone else in the family, so check the class descriptions to see if the class you are interested is available as a kit also. You can pick up your kit at the store, and then create your project at your leisure, or take the kit with you on your journeys. Peruse our Class Schedule and be prepared to be inspired! We are really excited by our upcoming classes, such as the Photography series, the paper crafting lunch bunch classes, QuicKutz workshop, outdoor acrylic mini-album, scrapping recipes class, oriental paper folding, iris folding with photographs, Sizzix classes, Scrapbook Design University and more. And the samples on display in the store for the classes are oh, so, great.

Special Events coming up in the next few weeks include a special visit to our store by EK Success, Saturday, April 26. From 10 – 4 we’ll have free tool demonstrations and FREE make’n take projects beginning at noon. Not to mention the special class that starts at 10am “Decorative Tins and Creative Cards” featuring 2 different tin projects and 5 cards. Call to reserve your spot in the class, and then plan to spend the day with us. The following Saturday is our National Scrapbook Day Crop from 9am – 9pm for just $15, including a goodie bag. Stay tuned for our announcements about some fantastic pricing on great products in conjunction with our celebration of National Scrapbook Day. We are excited by all these upcoming events, and hope you will stop in to take advantage of these special values we have sponsored for you.

Just in time for all those end-of-year school projects, we are completely restocked on our custom school product lines (14+ area schools and growing) including 12x12 papers and laser die sheets, titles, mascots, varsity letters, sticker sheets and more featuring school colors and mascots. And after a dry spell, Undo Adhesive Remover is back!!!

Looking forward to the summer, we have lots of fun planned. Thursday evenings we will be hosting “Crazy Days of Summer” from 5 – 7pm, featuring make’n take projects and be prepared for some “CraZy” 2 hour specials, too. Mark your calendars for the first Rocky Mountain Scrapaganza Shop Hop we will be participating in from June 20 – 29. You’ll be able to buy a passport from your “home” store, and then you’ll have 10 days to get to as many participating stores as possible. Those who complete the entire passport will be entered into a huge Grand Prize drawing, winning $25 gift certificates from ALL the participating stores! We’ll have special drawing at our store as well for additional prizes. More details coming, so make sure you’re on our email list!
